Swimming is one of my hobbies. I like swimming because it’s
one of the sports that I am good at. My schoolteachers taught me how to swim
when I was five. Diving feels a little bit weird because when the water
splashes on me, it feels ticklish, but still I love diving from the platform. I
like to swim underwater because it is fun to look underwater with your eyes
open.
One of the things I like to do when I am underwater is
sitting on the ground and holding hands with my friends. We like to make
bubbles out of our mouth. Another thing I like to do is pulling my friends legs
from underwater. They laugh and chase after me.

ReplyDeleteSwimming can be fun. Me personally, I am afraid of the water. That's funny isn't it! I do like to look underwater though. Everything looks so different. Be careful diving, it seems like it could be a little scary to me.
How many people go swimming with you? Have you ever tried counting the bubbles that come out of you mouth?

ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid of swimming. First, I was also afraid of swimming, but then I tried my best and now I am not afraid of swimming. Going in 5 or 6 feet of water is scary. Yes it is really fun looking underwater. I am also a little afraid of diving, but my friends cheer for me and that gives me courage.
I have some friends that go to the swimming pool with me. Sometimes as many as 5 or 6 of us go together. Other times I go with my little brothers. I have not tried counting bubbles, but I sure will. I have to wait for the summer but thanks for the questions.

ReplyDeleteI will keep trying swimming as long as I can touch the bottom. That is the only time I feel safe. :)
I have a friend that is very close to making it into the Jr. Olympics for swimming. Maybe that could be a goal for you someday? She has practiced and worked very hard to be the best she can be.
So what is your favorite subject in school? What is your favorite hobby, besides swimming of course? Is there something you like to do when it is too cold to swim?

ReplyDeleteYou are right, maybe it could be my goal. My favorite subject in school is Art. Besides swimming, my favorite hobby is reading. When its too cold for swim I do indoor swimming.:)
I read a book recently; it is called "The Dog on his Own". I just finished it today. It is about a dog who gets kicked out of the house a lot because he barks too much. Sometimes he barks to say there is thief or sometimes because he wants to go for a walk. The dog's name is K-10 and if you have read it you know why. K-10 is the narrator in the story. You will enjoy it. :) I don't want to ruin for you if you have not read it, so that's all I am going to tell.

I love to read also and my favorite books to read are mysteries. I like to read in the winter time because it gets dark really early.
I enjoy art as well. It is actually one of my favorite hobbies. I like to draw what I am feeling and sometimes I draw a fun memory. My favorite thing to draw is a koala bear though because that is my favorite animal. Do you have a favorite animal?
